Ayurvedic Wellness Coaching

There was a time when my health completely unraveled.

Western medicine played a crucial role in that chapter of my life. It stabilised me and kept me safe, addressing what was urgent and acute. And for that, I’m deeply grateful.

But once the crisis passed, I was left with a greater challenge and question:

How do I actually live well again? (after leading myself completely off the rails)

I wasn’t looking for another diagnosis or treatment. I needed help rebuilding the foundations of my life - sleep, movement, nourishment, daily rhythm, purpose. I needed support with the day-to-day living part of health and healing.

That’s when I discovered Ayurveda.

At first, it was through a book. The wisdom and plain logic of Ayurveda resonated deeply. It explained why my body and mind were in the state they were in. It also made sense of patterns I’d lived with for years. For the first time, my deranged health experience felt valid and real – like I could make complete sense of how I ended up where I did, and conversely, how to find my way back to myself, health and mental vitality.

But there was a problem.

Even though I understood what needed to change, I struggled to make it happen.

I was exhausted, depleted, and stuck in a deeply tamasic (mode of ignorance) and rajasic (mode of passion) state — low energy, low motivation, overwhelmed by even simple tasks. Knowing what to do didn’t translate into being able to do it.

> This is where so many people get lost with Ayurveda.

We assume that education leads to change or that insight equals action. But healing doesn’t work that way, especially when someone is burnt out, unwell, or disconnected from their awareness.

What I needed wasn’t more information.

I needed support, structure, and guidance the same way an athlete needs a coach.

A sports coach doesn’t just hand you a plan and walk away. They listen to your goals, assess where you’re at, and train you. They work on your mindset and help you build capacity over time.

That’s the gap I saw in the way Ayurveda was often being applied.

Ayurvedic medicine is rich and profound but lifestyle change is frequently left to the individual to self-manage. And when someone is already struggling, that’s often where things fall apart.

So I went looking for a coaching framework that could hold Ayurvedic wisdom in a practical, humane, and sustainable way.

That search changed everything.

Ayurvedic Wellness Coaching was born from this exact need: bridging the space between knowing and doing; between insight and implementation; between theory and real life.

It’s not about fixing people or forcing change. It’s about meeting someone where they are, understanding the conditions shaping their behaviour, and supporting them step by step back toward balance.

It’s a process of building awareness, support, and aligned action, gradually over time.

Because for many people, learning how to live well again is the most important medicine of all.

Where have you noticed the gap between knowing what’s good for you and being able to live it consistently?

This question, this gap, is exactly why Ayurvedic Wellness Coaching exists.

It’s the foundation of the work we teach at Live to Serve Academy, and the focus of our upcoming live intensive.

If you’re curious about supporting real, sustainable change in yourself or others, you’re warmly invited to learn more. Our next live training begins February 5.
