The Vata Woman
May 08, 2026

It’s 5:32am and you’re already awake.
You're alarm didn’t go off… your mind just decided it was time to begin thinking about life; about everything; about existence; all at once. 🌙
The full moon probably didn’t help.
Sleep was light, broken, and full of vivid dreams and random thoughts that somehow felt deeply important – a message revealed from deep in your subconscious.
Still, there’s a strange kind of magic to the early morning.
The house is quiet. Ideas are flowing. You light incense, roll out your yoga mat, and promise yourself today will be the day you finally stick to a proper routine.
(You won’t.)
After yoga, it’s chai with the girls.
You’re talking fast, laughing loudly, halfway through explaining your newest creative project before suddenly remembering the other seven things you’re already doing.
Your notes app is chaos.
Your tabs are worse.
Somehow you’re simultaneously:
- planning a retreat
- redesigning your website
- learning herbal medicine
- reorganising your pantry
- thinking about moving to the countryside
- and forgetting where you put your keys
By 11am you’ve already done “a million things,” yet somehow forgot breakfast.
Your hands are cold.
Your skin feels dry.
Your lips are chapped because autumn arrived and your body noticed immediately.
You’re craving crunchy toast, popcorn, iced drinks, and snacky little bits and pieces all day long… even though every Ayurvedic practitioner alive keeps telling you:
“Warm, grounding meals will help your nervous system.”
You know they’re right.
You just don’t want soup.
And routine feels restrictive – how boring.
You want freedom, spontaneity, inspiration, movement.
And yet… the irony is almost offensive:
When you actually eat properly, go to bed on time, oil your body, and slow down a little… you feel incredible.
Creative.
Radiant.
Inspired.
Deeply connected to your self and Higher Purpose.
You're a classic Vata woman. 🌬️✨
Tell me… how many times did you feel personally attacked reading this? 👀
