April News + (Free) Cosy Night In Event
Apr 01, 2026
I just finished a massive and enriching month of professional development with yoga therapy study.
I’ve always found it so difficult to integrate everything that I offer… everything I want to help women establish in their lives to support health and healing: exercise, Ayurveda, yoga and meditation, sattvic nutrition, daily habits and dinacharya…
I kind of felt like I was stuck in this weird sprawl of offering this, that and the other. Trying to be too many things.
But at the same time, knowing this is the medicine I want to share with people - a holistic approach to living. One that supports all the foundational parts of living well.
Turns out… that’s pretty much the umbrella scope of Yoga Therapy.
So I feel like I’ve landed. I’ve finally found my therapist home!
And as my fellow training peers have been sharing, hitting this milestone after 18 months of study (all live trainings and theory assessments complete), it feels significant. I’ve genuinely loved every minute of it (except for one night where I was nearly in tears trying to pull an essay together haha). And I’m really looking forward to the next phase, which is the practical application. I’ll share more of that as I go… and no doubt rope some of you into being my practice clients along the way š
March was full. Heavy study load, family commitments, and I was actually sick for the first couple of weeks as well. So I let it be a non-hustle month. Still working (probably 50 hours a week if I’m honest), but mentally putting down the pressure of ‘everything being urgent’.
And I know many of you are in this exact space too…
Studying, working, building something, trying to look after your health, your family, your mind… and somehow integrate what you’re learning into real life.
It’s not neat. It’s not perfectly balanced. But it’s real, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! š
I made the most of the small windows where I could. A 4-hour round trip just to have an afternoon cuppa with my mum. Getting the kids out of the house and into nature (off screens). Catching up with friends at kirtan. And honestly… these are the months that feel the most rich (even if the bank account doesn’t quite reflect it š).
On that note, a big acknowledgement to everyone who just completed the 8-week Ayurvedic Wellness Coaching intensive. Week 8 is always a favourite, stepping into the role of a coach, designing your own programme, and envisioning how to bring everything together in a practical way.
And a special thank you to Steffi for facilitating so beautifully – Steffi is experienced, grounded, and genuinely caring. We’re very lucky to have her as part of the LTSA team. We love you Steffi!
A few things happening this month if you want to stay connected and keep building momentum (read on for more info on events):
- We’ve got some great events coming up, including our Brain Health: Ayurvedic Lifestyle & Wisdom session with Dr Rafeena, and a more relaxed Girl’s Night: Ayurvedic Evening Routine (BYO oils + PJs).
- And in our Wednesday night Hatha classes, we’re moving through a 5-week cleansing arc, working from circulation, to stoking agni, to regulating prana. You can join live, or catch the recordings in the Facebook group.
- Also… over 200 of you joined in the recent 7-day Ayurvedic Yoga Cleanse. That honestly surprised me (in the best way). So I’ve decided to keep it open; you can now start it anytime, whenever it suits you. Because that’s the whole point… this work has to fit into your life.
Anyway, just wanted to share a little snapshot of where I’m at because I know many of you are walking a similar path.
Keep going. Keep integrating. Keep showing up where you can.
It all counts.
Love and well wishes,
Sami š¤
